In recent years Stephen has been involved in several productions that have utilised REAR PROJECTIONS as a way to manage both post and visual effects budgets.


On THIS IS JINSY (Season Two), over fifty magic-realism plates were created from previously/bespoke shot material; some of which covered a view of 120 degrees and others that covered different times of day.


The challenges were to design a "portable" setup to move rapidly from one part of the stage to another and to modify the projections as quickly as possible. Our ultimate goal was to reduce the greenscreen shots by an estimated 30% reduction.
